Originally created for the San Francisco Aquarium of the Bay, this design prominently features a Broadnose Sevengill shark, one of the most common and largest species of sharks on the California coast and in San Francisco Bay, and certainly a shark present in Pacifica waters. This one is depicted chasing down a common chunky, Pacific Chub Mackerel.
